We first visited Santiago in 1996 and just never got around to going back.David and Paul were still serving drinks and food but Orlando had just recently retired. The Staff, old and new, are just an absolute joy and the food/drink was as good as before. The Head Chef Joseph and his Team will make you any meal you want, you are not restricted by the Buffet meals, a la carte is always available at no extra cost. The rooms have been updated generally and most if not all have Air conditioning and TV. However, please do not judge the Hotel by Las Vegas standards, this is India. Baga beach is about a 10 minute walk and is also entertaining. The street bars are very good as well. Just sit by the pool and let the Staff pamper you. PS. We have re- booked 21 days in January 2015.
