Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, they tried to get us to upgrade to the villas, but we politely refused. After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door and they told us that they were upgrading us for free. We liked the villa, but were very annoyed by the iPad that was used to control the room. Well-intentioned, but this was a total miss. Who wants to fumble around in the dark looking for an iPad so that they can use the bathroom?! The breakfast was pretty good, the location super convenient, and overall the staff was very friendly. However, as is often the case in India, they frustrated us with their miscommunications and frustrations. Overall, a good, budget friendly place to stay.

And pleased we choose this hotel. We stayed in one of the suites across the road from the main hotel which is for adults only. The suite had a main living/dining room, bedroom and bathroom, all good size and always kept clean and tidy, we even had an iPad for the control of the 2 tv's and lighting. The staff were always friendly and attentive and nothing seemed too much trouble. Found the hotel to be a good base, near enough to the hustle and bustle, but far enough away to be peaceful. The suites/villa's had a separate pool to the hotel and this was clean and looked after every day by the pool attendant. We stayed b&b, because to eat out is cheap. The breakfast was adequate, they had fruit juices, cereal, Indian food and an egg station, so most people would find something they like. NOTE. Could do with a new toaster, it took ages and was still only off-white!!!, although this does seem to a problem in a lot of hotels, again always very clean. Overall a brilliant place to stay and would definitely stay again if/when I come back again.

Room Tip: We had room 108 which was on ground level which I preferred which was great, but only got sun in morning. Choose room 102,which is a villa, if you like the sun all day

Stayed for 2 weeks. The value for money is incredible. Even our holiday Rep said it was one of the nicer hotels. Location is perfect as it doesn't sit right in the hustle and bustle of baga, but is pretty much down the road if you want to visit. Also the beach is literally a 5 minute walk down a straight road. Calangute Beach is probably the beast beach as it isn't stupidly crowded as others are and the hassle you get is minimal compared to other beaches like candolim. Hotel is incredibly clean, food is lovely, breakfast is small, but had an amazing omelette made for me everyday. Rooms were very spacious. HOWEVER, i have to say what really makes this hotel is the staff. Some of the nicest people i have ever met, who if you take the time to talk to them are funny, charming and so friendly. They really made our holiday even more special. One thing that spoiled our holiday were the flow of the more wealthier Indian families, who tend to treat staff (who they deem to be lower than them) with absolute disrespect and contempt, which they don't deserve. Anyway. I have never recommended a hotel before, but have no problem telling you to choose this hotel over others if visiting GOA. Didn't upgrade to the villas, but considering the standard option was impressive, can only imagine how good it is. Shout out to DJ Angelo, Pritesh, George and the rest of you. One in a million

Stayed at the Casa De Goa in November 2013, very enjoyable stay and can recommend the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Hotel is clean and well maintained.

We stayed in the annexe across the road which caters for the suites and villa's , this is well worth the extra money as you get an upgraded swimming pool and lounge area with Jacuzzi and private seating etc (where breakfast will be brought to you if required )
The rooms are spacious with on demand TV (films and a few series ).

On the negative side

Breakfast is a little basic but does suffice.
We had a late checkout and there are no complimentary rooms to shower in ,so you have to pay to extend the checkout time, (£35 for a few hours and £70 for 4 hours or more)

Room Tip: Pay the extra for the villa's , we had room 110 ,try to avoid as backs onto the staff quarters and can smell of drains
