From the time we landed in GOI till we left this place the team at the resort treated us like emperor's...i have stayed for 3 nts and i must say it was a memorable one...located bang on BAGA beach this place is I think very conveniently located for those looking for a wild time at Tito's n Mambo's. Food is quite nice...but the only reason I would have my food here is for the wonderful staff they have...The rooms are divided in various category and I opted for a Wooden Cottage.....I think they just need to work on their toilets which are clan but I did not like the way they are built....All in all a strong recommendation to saty here

Advertised as 4 star, by the beach when it is more like a two star, 300 metres from the beach. Package was absoute top-end price for Baga Beach. Toured other 'real' 4 star hotels with great rooms for 1/2 the price.

We paid 7000 rupees per night and got put in filthy room facing a busy road, 300 meters walk to the beach. Complained to an indifferent staff (hotel was full), escalated to manager and got swapped to a villa room which had a leaking roof, water stains, smelled like mould and was bigger in size but not at all better.

To fix the mouldy smell one of the staff came in and emptied a canister of room fresher until we had to evacuate before our eyes melted.

The three meals a day included in the package were almost unable to be eaten, unless you like cold coffee and samosas for breakfast and the poorest looking buffet you've seen in your life. Then they charge you for the same free water that they put in the room as if to slap you in the face for eating their terrible food. The only thing edible were the naan breads.

Staff seemed to make up rules on the fly. Our package included hotel/airport transfer, we were then told, because it was after 2pm (that's PM), the transfer was no longer in the package and we had to pay. Complained again, then it suddenly became free.

The pool was surrounded by bird poo and we were questioned by a number of staff as to whether we were staying with the hotel (there were few other guests to be seen) in a very unfriendly way.

Our airport transfer driver made 5 stops on way to the hotel to look for things for his 'friend', then picked up the friend before we finally got taken to the hotel after an eight hour flight.

The stairwell smelt like bug spray, evidenced by the ocassional dead cockroach. Cupboards outside our room in the stairwell were full of trash.

This hotel is a complete joke and is misleading in their advertising. Avoid, and go somewhere better for half the price.

Great rooms, good service, and an absolutely fantastic location. It opens on Bagga beach and it has its own place there. Excellent value for money for the entire family.

Goa is one of our regular visit place and we go there almost every 6 months. Having tried most of the luxury resorts of South Goa & Panjim, this time we decided to stick to North Goa & in particular Baga beach. The reservations for the stay in the first week of december was done in September itself after a lot of email exchanges with the hotel which was very prompt in answering all the queries, as I had a lot of apprehensions after going through the mixed review on the net. After a lot of thought, I finally zeroed in on the Sea Facing Premium Villa, which was the highest category roomin the hotel. The reservation process was fairly simple with the deposit being made in the hotels bank account with HDFC bank.
The pick up from the station was prompt, although we did wish that they had avoided the Maruti Van. The check in was prompt and we were given Villa no 4006, which is undoubtedly their best. I would try to give my feedback on the major concerns that one has while booking the hotel, in a point wise manner.
Location:
The hotel is located bang on baga beach and the beach is less than 100 mts from the villa & the sea can be clearly seen lying on the bed in the room. All the popular shacks like Brittos, Bistro are barely 2 minute walk. You walk less than 100 Mts in the night and you can get a table with candle light on the beach itself and enjoy your drinks.
Room:
The room was in the form of a sweet little cottage, spacious and very neat and clean, the best part being the view. It had a LCD TV, DTH connection and a well stocked up mini bar. The bed was also very comfortable and the spring mattress was luxurious.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was also neat and clean and the shower was fantastic. The kota granite flooring in the bathroom was very apt as it easily dried up and did not retain the sand.
Service:
The room service & house keeping was very prompt. Rooms were cleaned daily and linen and towels replaced dutifully. We can never forget how we needed the Electric kettle tobe replaced at about 11 in the night, and the same was duly done with the house keeping being able to find an electrician to replace the socket at about 12 in the night. We had gone there with my 6 month son & 51/2 year daughter and required to use the services of house keeping more than often. Thoroughly satisfied.
Food:
we had opted for a MAP package. The first day was a bit of a confusion with instructions not having been passed on to the dining room regarding this. The dining room is a small corner in the casino and complimentary lunch is offered to the people coming to the casino. It seems that not many people opt for MAP and hence it took some time for the people in the dining room to realise that we would be having food inspite of not actually coming to the casino. The other irritant was that small children were not allowed inside the casino and so they would have to wait outside while we get their food. The food though was very tasty, though the buffet was very limited in terms of variety. It is advisable to take a CP plan at the hotel. The hotels shack, La Shack was awesome and the food was very very tasty. It was open through out the night and never actually let the "spirits" dampen.
Swimming Pool:
Although did not used it but the smll sized pool looked clean and inviting.
Value for money:
Undoubtedly this is the best place to stay in Goa if you want to experience the real goa. The resorts in South Goa may score in terms of luxury but the stay there is more of a hotel experience that a true goan experience. The rooms though pricey, make up in terms of food which is reasonably cheap. The property is excellent and definitely worth visit again and again.
Disliked:
Not many things except that once the hotel had arranged for a private dinner for a group of tourist on the beach & their drivers had the audacity to occupy all the sun beds that were meant for exclusive use of the villas. The security needs to take care of such things. Also services in terms of play area for kids, small library, pool table, SPA was sorely missed.

I walked into the hotel without a booking and asked for the most affordable room. I was told that only the most expensive room was available. I went to have a look at it.

When I came back I found an Indian couple being offered one of the affordable rooms. I asked if i could have one of those rooms. I was told they were only available to Indians!
This racism is a disgrace. I recommend boycotting this hotel if you are a non-Indian.
