Just returned from our second stay at Osborne over easter and once again had an amazing time
It started with the warm welcome we received from all the staff who seemed to remember us from last year. We were given rooms next door on third floor b block in phase 2 and we weren't disappointed
They were basic but clean and we had the same lovely room boys .It felt like we'd never been away. The bar staff are fantastic especially Sandy, , Martin, Bipin etc nothing is too much trouble. It is the staff that make this place and ensure people return year after year
The food was excellent and we could have had 3 free buffets per person per week
Unfortunately there are just too many outstanding places to eat so we couldn't fit them in. Breakfast is just toast and jam but is always served with a smile .
The hotel is handy for the beach, shops and places to eat but if you want to venture further afield the taxi drivers are helpful and cheap.
We had a couple of nights in agonda which was lovely but too quiet for us, and we went to the waterfalls and little vagator beach and
spent many happy hours at Aggies and the captains beach shacks.
We also met some fabulous people:Russell , ,Noreen, Nick, Sam and Jeanette and the two Steves, Mark and Paul . The hotel has such a friendly atmosphere .We had some fantastic meals too especially Chef Souymens , Over the Flames, Souza Lobo, Redonda and Decades to mention a few.
We love the Osborne and will definately be going back, , it's not posh but clean and with the best staff who ensure you have a great time. What more can you ask for.

A nice and friendly hotel with great extras (3 meals a week) even when it was a B&B, the pool was dirty but in Goa do you really want to be sat by a pool all day?

Perfect location and free aircon is always a plus!

Stayed at the Osborne Hotel a few weeks back..in March.
I found the place to be very cozy and comfortable. It was not a Hilton...but met our needs.

I found that being nice and polite to the staff there meant that they would be exceptionally friendly and facilitating in all my requests. This is true from booking reservations through to departure.

The meals were good...did not have to worry about hygiene and they tasted pretty decent, especially considering the price.

These days, its pretty hard to find a nice place which has friendly staff, is comfortable and also economical. My habit is to stick with places like this, where I know i won't get disappointed when I return.

just returned from our third holiday staying at the osborne. Excellent hotel for the money you get what you pay for in goa and the osborne is well worth it, the food is lovely, location is ideal and the staff cant do enough for you especially in phase one raj and the boys are brilliant also the room and security boys. What the osborne needs is wi fi and a larger television in phase one. Will be returning next year as long as the visa price dosent increase anymore.

Room Tip: Stay in phase one

on arrival given a non a/c room.had to pay £145 to upgrade.pain.the staff on the main desk were very helpful nothing seemed to phase them.we found the majority of waiting staff very rude and ignorant..room staff were great.although rooms were a bit dirty.but the room lads didn't have much in the way of cleaning materials so not there fault.we came to this area 3 years ago,we thought it had gone down hill, area is very dirty.i think south goa next time a lot cleaner.
opposite phase 3 is a small shop.ask for Julie or Gregg they rent scooters for about £17 per week.also sell fags quite cheap.if while your here and you are looking to do any trips we would recomend going into day tripper and booking tiger and tusk trip costs about £83.what a 3 day trip all meals included spend a good 4 hours with elephants then off to tigers and Asiatic lions.a trip we will do again.if when you book ask for a guide called abu what a fantastic fella.the hotel is very central if that's what you want and the 3 free buffet meals each week were great.

Room Tip: a12 is a good room

i booked the osbourne without air con just a fan got to our room it was dingy and very hot and the bathroom window was letting in all the mossies so we asked to move and have air con room extra 90 quid for 2 wks. the wardrobe was like a filling cabinet but apart from that it was spacius and liveable for our stay we asked for a tv got to like our basic room even if on bed was higher than the other two singles as a double but i found it comfy my partner didnt but all aside we wanted a cheaper hotel and ive stayed in this standard in india before and has done me.the pool was nice and quiet and staff nice felt safe and nice to be away from the very busy main road. there was entertainment and bbq nights and free dinner vouchers prob to make up for not having a full breakfast as you only get toast jam etc tea any thing else you pay extra.also safe was cheap 2 wks for 7 quid or so.loved the friendly cat and dog at this hotel.beach was a 10 min walk and a quick cut through was through phase 1.really enjoyed our holiday here.
