“Perfect for off season”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Baga is very lively and not too crowded in off season. Just enough number of shacks, music and people.

“The Best in North Goa”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

North Goa is a blessed with a long line of beaches, the most popular being the ones that stretch from Vagator in the north to Sinquerim in the south. There is something for everyone and Baga is where it all comes together. Nice lively beach, with a choice of water sports, shacks, clubs, bars, you name it, Baga has it.The road leading to the beach has some of the most famous night spots in North Goa. From the overrated Tittos & Mambos to smaller but far more enjoyable places like Cafe Capetown, Titto's Lane is the place to be when the sun goes down. Really, you know its happening when you are caught in a traffic jam at 2am in the Calangute - Baga road. Absolutely loved Baga.

“Poor experience”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Compared to beaches in South East Asia, Goas beaches disappointed me, even if it was monsoon. Poor facilities, relentless hawkers (I mean relentless) and dirty water made this a real letdown. There are some nice bars and restaurants in Calangute however,
