Just spent 4 days at the Park on Holiday Beach. Having read some reviews on MMT and other Internet reviews, we're expecting a decent stay, but boy were the reviews understated! To help fellow travellers, here's a quick run down on what to expect.

The amazing staff. It makes all the difference to have staff who are always friendly, courteous and charming. Every single one of them. Every whim, request and inquiry is handled with exceptional service. From the hotel manager to the security guard, everyone made us feel pampered and special, with a smiling face greeting us every time.

The rooms are very nicely done up with 40 inch lcd's, extremely comfortable beds, eclectic accessories, a super shower and have all the amenities that can be expected. Importantly, as of August 2013, the rooms are very clean and spotlessly decorated. Housekeeping services were excellent, prompt and discreet.

The dining options in the Love and Peace outlets are varied, well presented and mostly delicious. The standout service impressed us when we requested a semolina upma for breakfast, which wasn't on the buffet menu, which the chefs made especially for just the wife and me without skipping a beat and at no extra charge. The included breakfast buffet changes subtly every day and provides a comprehensive range of options to cater to every taste. The lunch and dinner options are great and we can recommended the Goan Prawn curry and the grilled filet mignon and everything from their live barbecues as delicious.

The location of the hotel is a mixed bag. The setting on the sea front with a semi private beach is wonderful with a clean unspoilt beach. However the area is very congested while getting to the hotel and the initial impression when arriving for the first time isn't the best. We asked the staff for a vehicle on rent, we're immediately put in touch with the agency and rented out a Mahindra jeep at INR 2000 a day for self drive and realised over the next few days that the hotel was very well placed overall, just about centrally located while tackling north and south Goa touristy drives.

The hotel facilities are, however, not as extensive as a proper 5 star resort normally lists. But the pool is clean, the views are clean and we were lucky we were there when a retro night event was organised, with an excellent live band, which fit the mood and the locale perfectly. Despite it being the monsoon, the hotel staff managed to keep all areas dry by continuously mopping up any rain.

The little things - complimentary bottles of water by the pool, free speedy WIFI, a bottle of beer on the lounger by the beach listening to the sound of the waves - it's no wonder everyone loves Goa.

The parking is narrow and just for 4cars, the hotel is smaller than expected, but boy was it a great holiday. From us 5 stars. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience. Special shout out to staff members Tanima, Samrat and Pooja, among others for their exceptional service.

Wish you all all the best.

Room Tip: Room 215 - The one we were in, has a view of the ocean and was in perfect condition to boot ;)

Thanks to saurabh, udit, pooja and the entire team of park at holiday beach for making our stay so wonderful and shall be cherished forever. We were a group of 25 friends and the trip started with a prompt welcome at the airport. Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed all meals with great service. Rooms are good and comfortable. We had volleyball in the pool and lots of fun. Since its a compact property thus it added to our advantage of not worrying about infants with us. Its a great hotel if you want all things at one place. Restaurant has a sea view and serves a good laid down menu.
We all had a great time.

I had been there in July 2013, this resort has a fantastic location, right on the beach.
Although it was raining heavy and water splashes and dampness was very high, but the staff was very prompt to keep things dry and wipe off water from floor.
Rooms are pretty good a very different architecture.
Although they still don't have a gym and SPA of their own, but still full points to staff, Ms Quenie and others on reception and the restaurant staff is also very well trained and very co operative.
They have only 2 suites which are beach facing so other rooms will not give you any view, it is best to keep curtains on.
Mr Khanna is also a very good administrator,
We were not at all satisfied with the food quality, and the rates in restaurant is also on upper side it seems

Overall the stay was comfortable but not exactly a full value for money!

I stayed at the park and hotel location is the only plus point right on the calangute beach. But the rooms are bit cramped..and since the theme of the hotel is all white you never quite feel that hotel is clean although the staff does its best to keep it clean. The swimming pool is small and gets cramped if even 4 guests are in it. The decor at the pool side is though perfect for a pool side party. The breakfast is average and everyday pretty much the same.

Dear Mr. Khosla,

On behalf of the entire team at The Park on Holiday Beach, I would like to thank you for your stay and for your feedback.

We have made a note of your feedback regarding the breakfast buffet though you didnot experience our breakfast for more than 1 days as you had stayed for 1 night. We do have a range of dishes in the breakfast buffet, which change everyday, and also offer a wide range of options like dosas, uttapams, waffles, pancakes, eggs to order, etc. from the live kitchen.
