If you are visiting Baga/Calangute area, then you will be foolish not to visit this garden style restaurant at least once. We have eaten here during each visit to Goa in 2003, 2006 & 2012.
The waiters will be only to happy to seat you to enjoy the food which is fresh, delicious & reasonably priced. A table with a overhead fan is a good idea on a warm evening.
There is always a excellent choice of fish & seafood available. But the Goan Prawns Balchao (hope its the correct spelling) is an excellent choice for those who like a cheeky hot dish.
The average meal for two people was 1400 rupees (approx £18). This was a two course meal with drinks. Bear in mind this is one of the more stylish restaurants, so you will eat cheaper food in many restaurants & it still be as good.
The only thing I would say was rather naughty of them, my husband wanted a small beer. Which they have on the drinks menu. But the waiter said they had sold out. So when he decided to have a soft drink instead, the waiter said maybe I can find you a small beer. Which he promptly bought back from the bar. We think its a trick to sell you a larger beer for a few more rupees. But as a large beer goes warm quickly, my husband prefers to order the small ones.
