The hotel is less than what I had expected, in comparison to last nine hotels that I had stayed in last six weeks while crisscrossing India. There is no parking space and and you approach the reception by narrow walkway. The staff is gruff. That includes the reception, the service and the cafeteria people. The buffet breakfast was the most spartan that I had seen during my entire stay in India. Although the breakfast was supposed to be available by 7:30 AM, nothing was served until about 8:45 AM. The room was comparatively small. In my opinion, the corridors were not well lit, with dark wooden doors and windows in the hotel.
On the bright side, this hotel had the best running hot water. The water flow and the water temperature would not fluctuate, like in several other hotels. Also, the Calangute beach, the shopping areas and several restaurants are within easy walking distance.
I shall probably look for another accommodation if I visit Goa again. I rate the hotel as between two and three stars.
