Reviewed November 18, 2011

I had arranged a short trip for a huge group.... It was so easy to book and arrange everything smoothly... All was possible due to Ms. Harmeet at the resort.
Great service provided...
And all pains taken by her to meet everyones requirements and their comfort...

Thanks for the amazing co-operation and the great services provided...

This Hotel is located in North Goa & very conveniently placed from the 3 most popular beaches in Goa. It is 5 kms from Baga, 3 kms from Calangute & 1.5 kms from Candolim. A 3 star property with decent sized rooms and nice feel. Having travelled a lot in India & abroad I can vouch that they serve one of the best Punjabi cuisine in their Hotel i.e Wagah Border. Hotel service is not the very best but not bad at all. As per me they need to pull their socks up and serve customers better to enjoy a good market share in goa hotel business. We were put up in elite rooms which are standard rooms, one should book Purple rooms which are big and very cozy and face the swimming pool. There are several bikes and car hire shops around the hotel and you can easily hire them at reasonable cost. I recommend hiring an open gypsy from Menezes supermarket which is 10 blocks away from hotel. This gypsy is what we used for 4 days and it is brand new vehicle. Also Vagator Beach & Anjuna Beach are 15- 20 kms away and easy reachable. We discovered a beach called Mini Vagator or naga (naked) beach which is virgin location and not know to many travelers. It has white sands and crystal clear water frequented by 90% foreign tourists making it a must go. Shiva sahck on mini vagator is a hang out for great food, beach volley ball and awesome shack experience. Water sports should be done at Calangute beach & not Baga. 4 rides at Calangute costs Rs. 500 and same 4 rides at Baga are priced at Rs. 1500. Shining star & Kafil shacks are the good ones at Baga. In evening the dining is in candle light which makes the baga stretch look like divine and romantic. Must visit party places are Curlies, Tito’s, Mambos, Cape Town Café & Kazaki. Goa is a place to be visited once a year for peace, party & beaches. Enjoy

Room Tip: Opt for Purple Room and not Elite Room

One of my best experiences in a heritage property in Goa. This Place gives you a typical ambience of a greenery takes you swaying back in time to the time it was actually reigned by .The rooms are good & well maintained, but best part is the size of the rooms and the high ceilings. Even if you take the cheapest room, it still feels like a suite. Have stayed here multiple times in different room categories and all give a very humble yet enticing experience and feel. The room service and hotel food is good as punjab specifically for the famous seekh tandoori. But this place is more for the cosy comfort stays Try getting a room in a corridor facing the pool.

we were 3 friends, we booked tangerine online. Even after seeing 2-3 negative reviews of he hotel, we decided to book it. Initially we were not very confident but the kind of service the hotel provided us with, took away all our negative mindset. They provided us with a decent package for a decent budget. Friendly people with great services. The location of the hotel is its best part. Its close to all the beaches in north goa like calangute candolim and baga, the rooms are truely at par with any 4 to 5 star resort, The pool area of the hotel is very beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant, Wagah Border serves awesome north indian food with a punjabi touch, and they serve all their guests very efficiently. This is was one of my best Goa trips, thanks to Tangerine Resort. I will suggest everyone to stay at Tangerine everytime you plan a visit to Goa.

Room Tip: if you are a group we shall recommend a royalle twin room , which is extra spacious , almost double...

I went to tangerine in August which is kind of off season in Goa. It was the best available option available in that budget. There is decent size swimming pool where you can lie and enjoy your drinks.

Best thing about this place is its location. It is in the center of market and at small distances from main beaches of Goa.

Food served in their restaurant is also nice.

We booked for our diwali vacation well in advance. When we reached to Goa we have call at least 5 times from airport as no one was available for pick up.After half an hour one local taxi person came and our terrible trip started. When we reached hotel they said due to some problem they can not provide us room which we have booked and paid well in advance.one person said some power failure issue and once person said some mishap happened with tourist so the group is continuing their journey which was lie.Actual this was some relatives of owner and Foreigners have occupied the room. They shifted us in pathetic hotel which is very far away. For commuting (as we have to take our lunch, dinner at great Tangerine) one non maintained two wheeler. This 2 wheeler has made our life hell in GOA.After 3 days of rigorous follow up they agree to give us room.Mr Vinayak said we will transfer your luggage at 6 am which was not transferred till 9 PM.At 9 PM my 4 years old kid was sleeping in may lap at reception. After so many follow ups shown to them we got room at 10 pm for 12 hours as next day was our departure.
The food was useless. The hotel staff have to learn about service from some "Chai ki Kitli). The Manager,Waiter and Great Owner no one is responsible. It was disaster.I really recommend them to shut down so no one loose their holidays and hard earned money like me.

Room Tip: don't think to choose this so called boutique resort

Tangerine is one place which you should avoid if you are staying in Goa.Food quality is worst as there is no variety and the service is extremely slow. The staff is the most under trained staff that I have seen ever. No welcome drink is given. Nobody asks you for the free sight seeing trip that they offer in the package during check in and if you dont ask for it, you wont probably get it.
When you reach goa airport their taxi driver will not come inside, you will have to make 10 calls to get the car outside the airport. When you will check out you will have to sit for hours at reception for your taxi back to the airport.
The pool is very small and there is no pool side bar.The wash basin in the bath room had a broken pipe and water came directly onto the floor. We had told the reception people about this the very first day but till the last day nobody repaired it which is unimaginable.
It will take time for these people to sort out things.

Room Tip: Choose a better property if you want to enjoy your trip.
