Was there with friends a few years ago on our last night in Goa. The restaurant has great food. We met with the owner who seemed to enjoy owning it and cooking the food. It was covered dining, but open in all directions to the breeze. I had the tandoori chicken and it was delicious.

We found this restaurant during our last visit to Goa two years ago, and revisited this time, as they do more authentic Indian food than your average Goan multicuisine restaurant. We never tried the European food. On our last visit a few weeks ago we tried on of their signature dishes, chicken tardiwala, beautifully spiced and presented. We also had an unusual lamb keema curry, also very good, and delicious gobi ka phool, in a sweetish cashewnut sauce, a delight! From previous visit I remember some lovely grills, and a great dhal!
There is a large outdoor garden setting, with a lovely ambiance, although it is right by the busy Candolim Calangute road. Service is very good by Goan standards, always overseen by the manager or owner. It is definitely more upmarket than most restaurants in the area, and therefore a bit more expensive, but worth it. With one cocktail and a beer, water, coriander rotis and rice, the above meal was INR1300, quite reasonable for what we had.

Visited here twice! Food was lovely and you can't have our plain food if that's what you want! Didn't seen as busy this time as previous years... Would recommend to friends definitely.

Returned this year and was very disappointed with the standard of food. We went on a Thursday to take a look at the entertainment and think we hit the highlight of the week. After taking our order the waiter brought us the customary free nan. The service was slow and on receiving our meals found that he had taken down the wrong order and the meal was not quite what i had ordered. After finishing a very disappointing main course we stayed to watch the end of the entertainment and they kept coming to see if we wanted more drinks as we were not drinking fast enough! The owner even came out from behind the bar to chase off people who were standing in the street watching the show for free. Staff need to show more of an interest in the customers and pay attention to orders.

We were a party of 10 and some of us where quite disappointed with the food. The steaks seemed to be about the best. Three of us ordered king fish in various ways but it was not very nice at all. I'm not known to be a picky eater but it was like it was reconstituted fish, tasteless and rubbery plus the supposed prawn and mussel it was stuffed with just tasted of nothing. We went on a Thursday and there was local entertainers performing dance and a man doing knife tricks, this is probably to detract from the slow service.
