Stayed here for 3 nights in Nov 2012. The rooms were just ok. The bathroom needs better maintenance. The water from the shower area overflowed to the rest of the washroom everytime we used it. The room(deluxe) we got was facing the reception so no view at all - which was disappointing. The beach - an extension of the calangute beach- was just a few minutes away, and the markets too were at a walkable distance. This part of the beach was thankfully not very crowded and was the highlight of our visit. The buffet breakfast was quite average and could do with some improvement. The service was good however and the staff very friendly.

This place is a gem but please keep it to yourself. Small family run hotel,so so friendly but staff really professional and attentive. the food served in the restaurant is outstanding, we ate traditional Goan food every day, really good fresh food and very reasonable for both food and drinks. The rooms are a good size and furnished in keeping with the nature of the hotel, which is rustic but really comfortable. Not many sunbeds around the pool but this is not one of those places where towels are out at 6am. Only 400 metres from the beach it is an ideal base for exploring the area. We would def stay here again, though it must be said we were here very early season and most of the guests were of indian origin, this suited us and we made some very good passing friendships.

Room Tip: We think all the rooms are in a good location, but you may wish to steer clear of the rooms directly adjacent the restaurant. There a poolside rooms and garden rooms but we thought they were all ok.

Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2012. The rooms are very good and with balcony. The overall property is quite beautiful. Nice pool with a sunken bar. There is a beach about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The main Calangute beach is about 1.5 kms. Food is good though they need to increase the options/items in the breakfast buffet.

The only negative I found very in the bathroom fittings. The hand-showers were leaky with water coming out of the pipe.

Stayed here for 13 nights in October 2012 just before the start of the main tourist season. The resort consists of a lovely free-form pool surrounded on 3 sides by 12 2-storey/4 room blocks and the restaurant on the forth side.
We had chosen the hotel off the internet and were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at 5am. We were delighted when we were offered our room straight away even though check-in time was 1pm; this made for a great start to our holiday.
The resort, we were told, had over 100 staff, most of which were very friendly and the service was excellent. Everywhere was immaculate and clean, and the rooms were rustically furnished with plenty of storage space and excellent air-con and ceiling fans.
The food in the restaurant was superb and the menu was extensive with prices comparable to street cafes in the town.
In 13 days we never had even 1 mosquito bite and were not aware of anyone else who had problems with mosquitoes although there were quite a few harmless dragon flies around the pool.
The area aound the hotel isn't brilliant, but only about 100m from the beach.
We felt it was good value and would stay there again without a second thought and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool are better, but for us not really necessary as we spent little time in them.

This was our first visit to Goa. We booked this resort because of the reviews and its location to calangute beach. On reaching the resort we found it was a clean and beautiful place. The rooms surround the pool. We were given room D207 which was the last one having two balconies. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had jacuzzi. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and on no occasion we the hotel staff and management gave us any reason to complain. The staff was helpful in getting us bike. Overall a good experience. The Resort is definitely value for money.

Room Tip: We stayed in D207 which was away from other rooms and hence when the loud music played in the Pool Bar we could had a nice sleep. It is the corner most room in the resort.
