Booked a deluxe non- ac room ( Rs. 1200)

Pros:
Lovely location ( 200 m from beach), Excellent room ( spacious, with nice balcony, colorful interiors, refrigerator, almirah, nice bathroom with a bathtub (that was a surprise!), very courteous and helpful staff (arrangement of bikes was done without any hassle, room was cleaned everyday, booking was postponed by a day yet the request was accommodated), no restaurant within premises but PV restaurant 100 m towards the beach ( decent food, not a delectable one for a vegetarian though!)

Areas of improvement:
Though hot water is available, solar geyser takes time for its availability esp. during before 10 a.m.. Bedsheets should be changed everyday ( currently once in 2 days). Difficult to get auto on checkout as you have to walk 200- 300m to come on the main road. however, if you book a taxi, there is no problem.

Overall verdict:

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Beach area next to the hotel is the most pleasant, less crowded as well . Would love to stay here whenever I visit Goa. Hats off to Mr. Francis and his family!

Room Tip: First floor rooms were pre-booked by foreigners who were staying for long durations. So book in adva...

This is an average hotel. The best thing is that it is very economical and very close to the beach. It is safe here. The manager is a good person, Mr. Francis.
You get everything you need but you have to pay for it.
Free car park available.

Stayed there for 4 days - was recommended by a friend and also read good reviews. Worth the stay ! Clean large room, clean toilet and easy access to the beach also to the main road. Great value for money and very friendly owners - have a dog on premise, dont worry dog wont bother you. Its a great place to stay if you like peaceful surroundings at the same time easy access to calangute & baga. Avoid their shack though, food not so good...

Stayed here for a while when stranded by the volcano (how lucky was that ..?!) Owners are very friendly and felt safe on my own as I was upstairs and they have two big alsatian dogs, plus the family are also on site. Great room with fan, clean and quiet. Two minutes walk to the beach and NV has its own shack. It is only a short walk into town from here but be advised that the road from NV to the main road is dark after sundown so either pack a torch or be safe and get a taxi back if alone and unsure.

Charlie, a taxi driver that hangs outside Paradise Village and internet shop, suggested NV Beach Resort. I'm so glad he did. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. I stayed in a non aircon room which had a fan, it was a very hot time of year to go but I found it fine without aircon. NV is a family run business, one of the first one's to set up on the beach. They are all very friendly and made me feel really welcome. I was travelling on my own and was a little worried that I wouldn't be safe but there are 2 family dogs that believe me won't let anyone in that isn't staying at the guesthouse. They are also very friendly, so don't worry and I don't like dogs.

The resort is a 2 minute walk to the beach where they have a shack that has very tasty food and lovely staff, Gensh & Anita. Turn right and you're heading to Baga beach about 30 minutes walk, very crowed if you like that sort of thing. Before you get there you can turn off at Beach Road where there are lots of restaurants and shops. If you turned left you would be heading to Candolim Beach. Don't make the same mistake I did, I was told by a local it would take 15 minutes to walk there, an hour and 20 later (and I walk fast) I arrived, blisters and all. It was a nice walk all the same but I was deffinately ready for my dinner by then.

The walk into town takes about 10 minutes, I would advise to leave the guesthouse before sunset as there are no lights down the road and it was pretty scary walking down there on my own, it's fine if you are with someone else. So I took a tuk-tuk back every night R50. There is an internet shop at the end of the road turn right. It was the fastest connection I found and very helpfull owners. If you turn left out of the road you head into town.

I would definately stay here again.
