With a new shack serving tandoori punjabi food popping up every day, it's so refreshing to see a dynamic and enthusiastic young restauranteur trying to do something different in South Goa.
We were recommended this place as something 'off the touristy track'. It certainly lived up to the promised standards. Young Donovan Vaz, the man behind the restaurant navigated us through his menu and plans for the restaurant, while giving us a taste of some very interesting Fenis (and Feni cocktails) brewed by his family. It's always great to make new friends over dinner...
As for the food - the pork ribs were finger-licking good but the real star of the show was the Portuguese 'condensed milk' dessert. I was dying to go back for another one the next day but the only problem was that I was back in Delhi!
Looking forward to our next meal there.
