“Now it's crowded too”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

Till last season, this used to be much less crowded as compared to the adjacent beaches- Calungute & Baga, & on the other side Sinquerim beach with Taj Resort holidayers. But this season there is an explosion of tourism here, though some relatively peaceful stretches can be still found a little away from the shacks. Beautiful beach & great sunset point. But lot of littering by tourists. Also, beware of glass shards in the sand from beer bottles broken by inebriated tourists.

“Fantastic Beach...”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

Been to Candolim 3 times now, mainly for the great Beach life...
We love spending time in the many good Shacks along the beach....
The sea, when not rough is great for a warm swim...Don't forget an early morning walk on the beach, to see the fisherman bring in their nets....

This is our favorite beach in the north of Goa!

It is absolutely beautiful. It is not as busy as Calangute or Baga therefore it was perfect for us!

The beach shacks are lovely and provide the best service. Our favorite shack was Fransiscos Shack along Candolim Beach. The services was lovely and the staff were there for your every need!

I would recommend this beach to people who do not want to be harassed by lots of Indian men (like at baga and calungute) but still want a relatively busy, yet calm beautiful setting!

There are no down sides to this beach.

“Best in North Goa!”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

Long stretch of clean and a quiet beach with good dining options makes it the best in North Goa. Unlike Calangute and Bagha, this place attracts responsible tourists. Explains why this one is cleaner with less nonsense. Famous among a lot of foreign nationals. The approach to the beach is nice and clean. There are good dining options with some great shacks. Life guards available and do their jobs well.

Long walk, sunbathing, read a book, drink a beer, enjoy a meal, enjoy sunset etc. Loved this beach for now. I hope it doesn't become another Calangute.
