This is the place to go for your spices & gifts! If you enjoy a good barter this is the place. very enjoyable & Fun. Dont worry about being hassled its all part of the fun, just remember to reduce asking price to a third & you will have a bargin.Try to go early as it gets rather hot after 1pm.a must & cheaper than the shops.

very crowded market and things sold are at very high cost. the quality of goods also not good. the bargaining is the key. you may get at one tenth of the quoted price if you do hard negotiations

From the time you arrive your senses are sent through the roof. From the noise, colours, smells and heat you are invaded. The market is buzzing with life, if you are the shy and retiring type stay away you will hate it. You will see the decorated cow with his owner, be aware if you take a photo you will be expected to pay, you will have many many beggers wanting money off you and if you deem to stop and look at the market stalls you will be practically hounded by the stall owner. At the end of the market there is a stunning sea/beach front bar, definately stay for a while.
