Held every Wednesday, the seasonal and very famous Anjuna flea market comes alive. A huge winding market, and it can be as crazy as it gets. A thing costing Rs 20 will suddenly turn to $20 when you are a tourist, so make sure your bargaining skills are pencil sharp. The local vendors here speak Russian(!!) as Goa is slowly but surely gaining a foothold of the Russians.

The truth is this market is only for foreign tourists!
The cost as per INR for Indians is too much!
A simple t-shirt for a 3 year kid is 300/-, which is too much to ask for!
You will be tired of bargaining!
They don't entertain Indians that much!
Even our driver mentioned that this market is just for foreigners and not for Indians.

Its a typical flea market. Buy trinkets or gifts for friiends back home from here. Bargain a lot. If you are not interested in shopping just go to experience the sight and sound. Good place for photography also.so go and enjoy.
