We had ridden down for a motorcycle festival in Goa in November and stayed in Laguna Anjuna. In all my years of coming to Goa this was the first time I stayed in Anjuna. The nice part of it apart from the property which is engulfed in trees and built in the old goan way is its away from the madness of Anjuna and yet its just there. Also since it is a built a bit off the road there is ample parking for cars and bikes. Staff is friendly and cheerful and they have a nice large pool, large rooms and great Chirizo - goan Sausage (I must admit it may have been the only thing i ate).

My wife and I recently stayed at Laguna Anjuna for our 2-week honeymoon. We had an amazing time and fell in love with the charm of this place. The staff were excellent, and we made a few good friends among them. Thankyou Laguna Anjuna. See you again soon!!!

We went to laguna anjuna in august. It is a lovely place, very nice cottages, very big rooms. The monsoons had made the rooms a bit damp but coupled with the greenery all round it was great. We specially enjoyed the swimming pool which is beautifully maintained and clean. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The location is central with lots of beaches close by. We had driven down so going around was not an issue. The old world atmosphere is maintained very well. All in all, a complete package for the family. We would love to come back again. The only point I would like to say is that the sign boards leading to the resort should be more prominent. It is quite an effort to find out where it is, google maps notwithstanding.

Room Tip: Aug-Sep is the best time. We stayed in room M and it was quite good.

We stayed for 2 nights and the Resort could be very nice as the rooms and the public areas where thought out very well but the maintenance is a disaster
The pool needs Repairs even though the water was very good quality .The lounge area could be very nice but looks like it has seen much better days and now looks like a youth hostel lounge
Reception smells and again has a feeling of a youth hostel even though the building is very well designed
The rooms could be excellent as again very well designed but the maintenance ZERO
Air conditioning not working and impossible to repair as they are far too old [cover falling apart] fan regulators only on and off as they are broken
Bathrooms walls in a bad condition good quality taps and showers
The staff on the whole kind but the owner please spend some more money on Maintenance so your hotel has better reviews

My feelings as a hotelier my self ,is the owner created a lovely place but the enthusiasm has gone. To keep a good standard you must invest on keeping a place fresh new or sell up and give it to someone who will invest in such a lovely place

Yes, as an older property built in Goas country house style and with the rains well into October this year we admittedly were caught flat footed and do have our maintenance work cut out. We are finishing this as soon as possible. However I assure you my enthusiasm is as high as when I built this place, and have no intention of selling out/ making management-maintenance contracts as brought up by yourself with my staff, either with you or anyone else. Wish you a good year with your own hotel in Pondicherry.

Brilliant stay in the 2 cottage suite at Anjuna Laguna!!
The entire atmosphere of the place is old world and charming with all the stone structures, eco friendly hanging pots, swimming pool surrounded by garden.. I can just go on and on and on!!! And all at such a great price! Thanks & Cheeers!!
The proprieters of the place were friendly co-operative and helped us out with locations and places of stay in Goa by offering advice! :)

Room Tip: Cottage A - the 2 suite cottage we stayed in was very spacious and private :)

This was the 1st place we stayed in Goa. We enjoyed our stay here but not the bed we stayed in. All the staff are lovely very friendly and good at their jobs. If it had not been for the really good bar and restaurant here we may not have liked our stay here. The food in the restaurant is really great such a big menu to choose from and reasonably priced.

Our room was nice there was air conditioning and 2 fans in it which given the humidity they did a great job at keeping us cool. We did not use the internet so I cannot comment on that. The bathroom was spotless with a really lovely shower.

The main problem with this place is the bed we had was a little grubby; there was stains and marks on the bed sheets we decided to just sleep on top as we did not fancy pulling them back to see what was under the,. The mosquito net was old with holes in it which were more than big enough to let mosquitoes and other insects in so we had to put band aids on them to cover them up.

We used the pool only once. It was nice and clean but the insects gather there in the early part of the day but this can not be helped. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach from there or you can hire a scooter. There are lots of scooters buzzing around the roads there so it makes it a little difficult to walk around.

We moved further north for the rest of our stay in Goa and we were told that is the norm for places in Anjuna and with this in mind if I was heading back to Goa I might think about staying at another beach as there are so many to choose from.

I would like to say even if you are not staying here it is worth a visit to eat in the resturant and meet the really lovely staff.
