My wife and I stopped here for an early supper, about 4:30 pm on a Wednesday. At that hour we had the dining room to ourselves. We split a large Chicken Smokecheezy on a sourdough bun, with no onion. Our sandwich was ready in about four minutes. My wife commented on the excellent bread. She said if she'd remembered how wonderful it was, we'd have been back sooner. The sandwich brought back good memories of Huntsville's first Schlotzsky's, about 30 years ago, when one could play an arcade game of Pac-Man or Space Invaders while waiting for one's sandwich. The sandwiches today are even better than the originals were back then. The restaurant isn't as nice and new, though. It is past due for a remodeling. We sat at the end where there is a TV, and watched a little CNN with our supper.
