BBQ, Fantastic burgers, great ribs and amazing homemade cakes! Wonderful huge portions. My favorite is the regular cheeseburger because I can't handle the large, it is HUGE! Good thing paper towels are on the table because juice will run down your hand the meat is so juicy. This is not a fast food place, everything made to order and if you hit a busy lunch hour sometimes it takes a while to order but it is worth it, just take someone with you that you like to talk to or call your order in! You may read a lot of reviews about it being smoky with BBQ smoke and yes, that is true but hey, that is worth it too.

Very quaint in an old building in the original part of old downtown Lincoln. It definitely smells like a BBQ place, which is a good thing. The burgers and fries are huge, and the homemade cakes are great. The BBQ and ribs are very good, too. Great place.

Ate lunch here. BBQ sandwich is huge, the small hamberger will not disappoint you. onion rings were good as well. Small place plastic chairs but the food is plentiful and good. Home made cakes. Excellent prices. It's in old town lincoln, very rustic. I will return to this place.

This was the probably the best place to eat in the area. Its a quaint bbq spot right by the railroad tracks where the people are friendly and the food is pretty good.

This place is a little hard to find as it's located in the old section of Lincoln, just off the railroad tracks. It's worth the effort to find it!
The portions are HUGE, so place on taking some home with you (or splitting a plate with someone else). The BBQ is tasty is fairly lean. You apply the BBQ sauce yourself. The spicy sauce IS spicy so be careful. I loved it, but some might find it too spicy. The hamburger steak was tender and covered in beef gravy & carmelized onions. Tasty stuff.
The sides are are very good -- like mom used to make.
The cakes appeared to be homemade. They looked great, but I didn't have any room left are tackling such a huge BBQ plate. I'll get a sandwich next time and try a piece of cake.

The only negative about the place is that it is VERY smoky. Even though the smoke is from the cooking fires and not cigarettes, it's too much. We smelled like the place for the rest of the night. Ideally, get your food to go...
