“Authentic Cajun in Huntsville”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

We have been eating here for several years and have never been disappointed. The menu is typical Cajun - po'boys (shrimp, oyster), étouffées, jambalaya, red beans and rice, and so on. The service is quick and friendly, the pricing reasonable, and the decor is Louisiana roadhouse. This is a favorite place for this type of food.

“New Orleans in Huntsville!”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

Sought out this restaurant to have a genuine Po-Boy sandwich experience. Was there at lunch time and the place was full of happy guests. The staff was friendly and the locals know the restaurant for sure! My husband had a club Po-Boy and Cajun fries. The bread really was what made the sandwich delicious. It was a true New Orleans-type of bread and it held the plentiful meats, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce, along with a mayo-based sauce. The Cajun seasoning on the fries was spicy but didn't overwhelm the potato taste. I had a crab cake and fries. The fries had a light coating on them and were really tasty. We splurged on a bread pudding in whiskey sauce, and we loved it. The dessert was warm and had a great cinnamon flavor. We were happy with this restaurant and see why travelers from Trip Advisor rated it high. We do too!!

“Real fresh Cajun”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

The owner/operators of Po Boy's are from Cajun country and go back there weekly or more often for fresh sea food. Great gumbo, ettouffee, jambalaya. The Crabcake Special is just that. Friendly service by mostly extended family. Two fairly small and usually very busy dining rooms are informal by any measurement and with a Carnival atmosphere. Client dress is very informal. They serve the usual assortment of lite beers, but also Abita beers including the wonderful Turbo Dog black ale, all in bottles - no taps. Menu and prices are on line.

“Tourist in tha' CiTiwn Currently Residing.”
Reviewed December 20, 2013 via mobile

Walked in n- most def don't feel like I'm in the place I'm residing in! It's like one gigantic house w/a whole bunch of tables n- a whole lot of ambiance! ...lovin' tha' vibe!

I couldn't order everything I wanted to try in one dinner order, so I ended up ordering some items aka carte.

The hush puppies are delicious and the Cajun Fries are a hitter! This is a winning hot spot to keep me coming back!!!
