This was our third dinner and we've had several lunches at Alana Shay over the past several months. Every time the food is superb: generous portions of carefully seasoned ingredients and just right combinations. Just had the fresh Georgia trout with apples and sweet potatoes: piping hot trout and the apples sliced thin with a delicate pecan sauce. Also loved the flounder--superb. Salads are subtle and generous-- my favorite is the beets salad. Cheesecake light, not too sweet, fresh and generous. Service (tonight Scott) is attentive yet unpretentious--friendly. Food is consistently delicious and we love the open space, easy parking, and cheery Doubletree entrance. A treat!
