This is no longer called the RAVE, the name has changed to Carmike . The theater is only a few years old and it is still nice and clean. They show good movies for kids and adults. The seats are comfortable and have a cup holder on each seat. Each theater is tiered so you have several levels to choose where to sit. It is a nice place for family outings. It is in a nice part of town but always lock your car in the parking lot. The theater is next to a shopping center with Target, Pier One, Hobby Lobby, Ross, Marshalls, and a nail salong, so you can drop off older teens to see a movie while you shop next door. There are several restaurants close by: 5 Guys, Buffalo Wild Wings, Red Robin, Long Horn Steakhouse, Zaxby's Fire House subs, and a fine dining restaurant called Mezza Luna. (Another Broken Egg is close too but they close in the afternoon at 2:00)
The movie theater shows current movies. Their concessions are as any other theater---WAY OVER PRICED.
That being said, it is "the place to go" for the young set as there are always lots of teenage and college kids there and it is a social gathering spot of all ages too. They have plenty of staff working there. You can also buy your tickets on line and pic them up at the online kiosk just inside the front door.
You will like going to movies there.
