I called repeatedly to see if we could take an RV, and no one ever answered or returned calls. We drove an hour out of the way to be turned away.

I love this place! Be prepared to drive out into the country a little, but that's expected as there are animals of all kinds out there! They walk right up to the car and will eat out of the cups of food provided. Bring a little extra money to buy a lot of food for the animals. Feeding them really enhances the experience! Don't take your favorite car as some of these animals have horns and antlers! A great time for any age!

Harmony Park Safari was certainly an unexpected gem in the middle of nowhere. The GPS took my fiance and I through at least 30 miles of Alabama back-country to arrive at a small but delightful "wilderness safari". Overall the price we paid was extremely reasonable and we had the most memorable time. We were able to feed animals from inside the car and got up-close and personal with animals you can only strain to see in zoos. I was able to pet a zebra! We had the best time and haven't laughed so much in ages. We had a run-in with an aggressive emu that we'll likely never forget. The place as a whole is very local, very do-it-yourself but overall is quite obviously cared for by people who truly love what they do. The animals seem very happy cohabitating in a shared environment. This is one experience that is well worth the drive to find!
For families with children make a note that the only bathrooms available is literally a wooden outhouse with a moon painted on the front.

This is a neat little place to check out some day. You drive through the park and can see all the animals, then get out at the end to see the reptiles, turtles and more close up. They want the purchased food and will come (literally) in your window, so be careful. You can take as long as you want to drive through and can go around again if you desire. They desperately need your donations so be generous.

Military get a free bucket of food for the animals! This place is so much fun. We shared a whole bucket of feed which is plenty for the drive through zoo. The animals will walk up to your vehicle to eat. We brought our older car because they do slobber all over the windows and sometimes put their paws on your vehicle. Lol. After the drive there's plenty of other animals and reptiles to view including a HUGE python and anaconda. Ages two and under is free but everyone else is $8 per person. I kinda wish that they'd charge per vehicle that's the only complaint I have.
