I traveled to Huntsville for work, staying a week. My Mom tagged along for a break. Initially, I attempted to stay at the Westin. Since they nickle and dime you for every little thing, I quickly called this hotel and checked ou of the Westin, 20 minutes after I checked in. The Marriortte had a suite available, so I headed straight there. It was late in the evening and we were pretty tired. Marriotte staff greated us pleasantly and surprised us by putting usin the2 br/2 bath suit. The week was met w/ great customer service. The workout area is very small so they offer a complimentary pass to a gym not too far from the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is every morning. Manager receptions/dinners are available weekday evenings. Other than the internet problems (which were fixed in a reasonable time), and the fact that a bench for smokers is poorly positioned at the entrance so you have to walk through the smoke, no matter what, the stay was a good one, highlighted by the helpful staff.

Just checked in at the residence inn by marriott in Huntsville, Alabama for one night and once again the residence inn does not fail me. The check in is so nice and simple with wonderful people at the front desk. Then the rooms. They only have three floors which is pretty typical of them across the country. Our room on the second floor is super wonderful. The full kitchen, the living room, the bedroom and bath. For the price it's like a very cool apartment located close to everything. I'm currently sitting by the pool enjoying the quiet as the sunsets and no screaming kids. It's so very nice. The breakfast is exceptional and the elevators are great but I usually just use the stairs because your only 1-3 floors from your car. And I have never had any trouble with parking spaces and once again no problem here either. Now they don't have a concierge and they don't have a Resturant but right next door is a strip mall with there must be a hundred restaurant choices. I can't say enough about the residence inn across the USA and I love this one like all the rest. Always feel safe around them. If I had to say something negative about them it's that they can be a bit hard to find. Unlike all the great big hotels with large signs and banners to guide you in the residence inn, this one as well, you need the gps to find it. No big sign. Love the residence inn.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent

This is not just a fine place to stay relative to sights in Huntsville and Northern Alabama, it is a great place to stay for the warm, outgoing and completely professional staff. Larger rooms, good breakfast and dinner bars, pool and work out room... I have stayed there many times in the last 5 years and look forward to each new adventure.

Room Tip: I always stay on the 1st floor and really, all the rooms are pretty much quiet and cozy.

Very nice hotel. We had a two bedroom unit. Nice kitchen and both of the bathrooms were nice. The breakfast buffet was very good, you must try the potatoes! Very friendly staff, lady who works the breakfast bar takes great pride in her position and was very polite and accommodating.

We spent several days in Huntsville and knew we'd be spending time at our hotel. Residence Inn allowed us to have a larger area than a regular hotel room with more seating and the bonus of a full kitchen. We didn't have a car, but were across a little used street from a shopping center with multiple restaurants and various stores including a Target where we were able to get some things we'd left out when packing. Our room was clean, airy, and quite comfortable. If it hadn't been June with really hot weather, we'd have been able to enjoy the hot tub as well. Busy University Drive was blocked by a Burger King, so we were as quiet as anyone could possibly want to be. A hot breakfast was offered daily.
