The Bridge Street complex is a charming shopping district not far from our home. We opted to catch a movie as husband and wife sans children tonight for her birthday. We read reviews that this place was a luxury theater if one opted to pay extra and sit in the balcony. We paid $22 and saw "Riddick" tonight. While the movie wasn't that good, the theater certainly ranks among the nicest we've been to. We purchased our tickets down stairs before climbing upwards to the bar where we bought a $5 bottle of water. It's a full bar with a large variety of wines available on top of the other adult beverages and there appears to be a restaurant downstairs too. I should mention that when buying your tickets you get to use the touchscreen to select your seats before the staff prints out your tickets. The balcony seating is far more comfortable than regular theater seats, they appear to be love seats split in two with an arm rest that raises/lowers as you wish. You get the feel of looking down on the movie instead of the usual looking up. If you've never experienced anything like this before then you really must, adults only upstairs however. We will certainly be doing date night here from now on. We didn't get snacks but you can assume the price will be comparable to other theaters.
