The Space & Rocket Center helps to put our wonderful city into prospective for our guests. You don't have to be a science person to come away with a great experience. There is something for nearly every age.

“Best Alabama Attraction”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

There is something for everyone at the Rocket Center. If you plan ahead and want to take part in the camp experience there is a family camp on weekends. Younger children, 5 and under, may need a shorter day planned. Traveling exhibits seem to change every few months. A lunch facility is also available on site. A behind the scenes tour is also run a few time a day. Ask about it when you purchase your ticket. They will show you many of the space camp areas.

“US space and rocket center HSV”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

If Space and NASA are your thing, this is the place to go see! In addition, there is an IMAX theather there that is a great experience to see movies like "Gravity" and others that will give an immersed feeling in the movie experience. Space camp. Many interactive displays in the museum. They rent out an area of the facility for weddings and events.
