We had read a Trip Advisor review and realized we would be close to the restaurant so decided to try it out. The first time we passed the entire parking lot was filled. About 2 hours later, we passed and the parking lot was still filled. We were seated at the counter immediately or there would have been a wait. Each day has specials - which can include dessert. (strawberry shortcake today) and today's veggie of the day - fried okra! Everything was delicious. Of course you have to like this kind of southern lunchtime tradition...your place is filled as soon as you stand up. Service is fast, efficient so don't think you're going to sit around afterwards and take up valuable space. We'd definitely eat here again. No senior discounts..you can order other items off the menu besides the specials. Salads, stuffed tomatoes, sandwiches, etc. Lots of people taking food-to-go.
