We have dined at Iguana Grill probably 10 times since it opened. We live nearby, and since our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant involves major traffic fighting pain on a Friday night, Iguana Grill was an excellent choice.
The decor is really special - not your usual Tex-Mex decor. We were meeting our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 year old granddaughter for dinner, and figured the baby would love looking at the mural and all the lights. We were correct! She was a happy kid during dinner.
Hubby and I had a liter of top-shelf margaritas and they were good. They really put a lot of ice in the carafe which made me wonder how much drink was in there. But it was plenty! :)
Their homemade salsa is delicious! I'm not a big fan of cilantro, it tastes like soap to me, so theirs was not to "cilantro-ey" for my taste - more tomatoey and garlicky - not too spicy. The chips were nice and hot, and the queso dip had a nice kick to it.
I had the steak fajitas, and it seriously was enough for 2 people. Hubby had the supreme burrito, SIL had the enchiladas, and daughter had a quesadilla. We all enjoyed our dinners.
We will be back! One day I want to try the mojacate dish!
