The food was good, and the place is very big, with lots of activities, a souvenir shop and live music. It has a great atmosphere and the wait wasn't too bad either.

“Great atmosphere and great family fun!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

We had a great time at LuLu's in Gulf Shores! We went three times during our vacation week, one lunch and two dinners. We had one of our dinners on the weekend and also saw a great band. The burgers and seafood were also great. Lots of things for kids to do also. Loved it!!

“Lulu's”

The Management went above and beyond to keep us there. We met family there and it was a little loud so decided to eat somewhere else. Management came to us and said they would seat us away from stage and even turn down the music if need be. We stayed and was not disappointed, food was good and plenty of it. Recommend

“Wonderful food and bonus dolphin sighting!”
Reviewed November 27, 2012

This place is great. The food was wonderful & abundant. They do not scrimp here. We had Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizer. The FGT's were huge and looked like they came from a softball sized tomato. I had the jerk chicken sandwich featuring pineapple slices and a homemade honey mustard type sauce on the side on a homemade bun. Also ordered a side of Onion Rings. All were great. My friends had the fried catfish platter and I was told it was the best catfish they ever had (melt in your mouth) which comes with hushpuppies, fries and coleslaw. Other friend has the Cheesburger in paradise with fries. We also had a pitcher of Lulu's Honey Ale and it was great. Lulu's claims to make all their food fresh from scratch.

We sat on the houseboat part of the restaurant which overlooks the intracoastal waterway. We saw dolphins on the intracoastal along with the occasional yacht floating by. It was a nice view.

Service was great. Next time I go I will definitely save room for dessert which features Key Lime Pie with Grand Marinier whip cream or the Krispy Kreme bread pudding.
Thumbs up to Jimmy Buffett's sister for creating a great place to eat and shop.

“Fun restaurant in Gulf Shores”
Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

This was our second trip to Lulu's and it did not disappoint us. The staff is super friendly and the food is very good. We had fried green tomatoes which were very flavorful. The fried shrimp were good and the portions big. The only thing we didnt like was the bread pudding. It was very soggy and had a glaze we didn't think tasted good. Overall we like Lulu's and always stop by when we are in Gulf Shores.
