Description: Coast Restaurant at The Beach Club features two "bests" of the Alabama Gulf Coast: a panoramic waterfront view of the Gulf of Mexico, and a culinary experience crafted from the finest local seafood. Open nightly throughout the summer season, Coast features the talents of Chef John Hamme, who brings his award winning interpretations of Italian, Mediterranean, and Southern cuisine to The Beach Club. Enjoy new interpretations of classics like Shrimp & Grits along with a daily selection of fish fresh from the Gulf. Seafood is front-and-center with top seasonal ingredients including red snapper, grouper, and ahi tuna - all sourced and supplied locally. If you prefer turf to surf, our mouth watering filet mignon and savory pork tenderloin prepared to perfection and paired with fresh seasonal accompaniments are sure to delight. More than just a culinary delight, Coast is also a feast for the eyes. After a full day on the ocean, enjoy the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico from our veranda. Watch the waves roll by as you sip a glass of wine from our extensive collection or enjoy a cocktail from our selection of premium spirits.

“Nice, quiet dinner”

Good wine and service, nice dinner, and very convenient on premises. Worked for us since we didn't have to drive all the way back to the main Gulf Shores area for dinner.

“OMG”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

Just finished what I hoped would be a great dinner at the The Coast at The Beach Club in Gulf Shores AL but my expectations have been shattered. Brody, a new chef to the Fort Morgan area cannot be expected to save The Beach Club by himself. Where is management????? The front of the house is horrendous and lost. Amy, our server, needs tutorial in southern hospitality. I hope this might improve her ability to serve but I am afraid she is in the wrong profession. She did not even realize she served our dinner before our appetizers and hovered to take glassware and dish ware before we were finished. Oh Brody, I hope things get better!!!! Also, the two women at the reception desk at the restaurant were a joke. They never acknowledged us or welcomed us. They too were a disaster. Management please help them!!!

“Need Several Hours to Dine Here”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

The Coast Restaurant was a few steps from our condo. The location was perfect. The food was excellent---- when we could get it. One night they were out of hamburger. Another night they were out of red snapper. Our server, Michael, was excellent, but he was in charge of the bar and eight or ten tables. Slow. Slow. Slow. We ate there three times, and it was always the same. They really need to staff the place and stock the food. No matter how pleasant the employee, he just can't handle an entire dining room. They do not open for breakfast and are the only restaurant within walking distance of the condos. The Coast is the only game in town, so I won't be visiting this resort again.

If you don't want to make the 14 mile drive into town you will be pleasantly surprised at the Beach Club restaurant. We ate there twice during our week stay and both times we where very pleased.

“Wonderful meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2013

We stayed at the Beach Club condos with another couple for a few days and this restaurant on the property was an excellent meal. The food was very good and a reasonable price with great service. Our dessert was a little slow coming to the table and the manager on duty took the cost off our bill without a word from us. Both she and the server were very concerned that we were all happy and it did not change our opinion that The Hideaway was a great place to eat.
