The seafood was great. The restaurant was pretty busy so the service was slow. My son stepped out of his comfort zone and ordered the fresh fish and loved it. The décor is pretty rundown but the food is good.

Drinks outside while you wait were in the tiniest cups they could find and were the same price ($8) as the large glasses once you were seated. Fried green tomatoes were awful, food in general was just second class and way over priced, the upstairs room was so warm I almost ask if we could go back outside to eat. Not impressed at all.

We have been coming here while on vacation for several years, usually eating here twice during each vacation. This year was a huge disappointment. The place has always been a bit run down on the inside. I can deal with that but there is NO excuse to be just plain nasty. The carpet is filthy and needs to be pulled up and burned and the vents in the ceiling haven't been cleaned in who knows how long. The staff taking down names seemed very unorganized, we were told a 30 minute wait but after 45 minutes our beeper hadn't gone off, my husband went in the investigate and was told that our table was ready and that the beeper hadn't been working properly lately. Which makes you wonder why they were issuing them in the first place. Our table was close to the kitchen door which wasn't good for me because I could see how filthy the kitchen was every time a server went in and out. Our server was terrible and our drinks were empty for several minutes during which he walked by at least 4 times made eye contact with our empty glasses but instead of refilling them stood at the hostess stand talking. This went from being a favorite place to a place that we won't go back to again.

Wait staff was nice and food was not overpriced. However, it was the worst seafood I've ever eaten. Air was not working correctly and it was very hot in there. The menu is also very misleading. There was no crab meat in our crab/spinach/artichoke dip and the shrimp bisque was not really bisque. Just very disappointing...

For a place to have such a seafood availability to many of the local restaurants use frozen seafood. Most including this place used frozen seafood. What a shame.
