Food and service was really good.
Even the children's fish sticks "nuggets" were hand breaded and yummy.
Lower dining is a little dark when sitting in booths, so make sure you get near windows or upper dining.

Overall good value especially with family for lunch.

Great food. The sweet potato casserole is to die for. The rolls are good too. Tried the alligator bites and liked them. Had crab and key lime pie for dessert, very good. The staff was awesome.

After reading some of the reviews before visiting Desotos Thursday. night I was a little concerned but we've always enjoyed it before so we went. We were NOT disappointed! Food, service and value were excellent. If you're looking for fancy go somewhere else! It was not "dirty" or "musty" as some said (some folks complain if there ice cream is too cold) You'll be missing out on some awesome food if you don't give em a try.

Little warm loaves of various bread and tea is included with each entree. Also two sides. Their most well known is sweet potato casserole with pecans and brown sugar. It should be a desert it's so good. The portions are good and they have varied sides, from steamed veggies to fried corn fritters. Service is fast and the food is good.

Not sure what all the fuss is about this place. Service was poor (it was 6pm on a rainy night-not very busy) and food was ok at best. Won't go back.
