The atmosphere is nothing special, but the food and service were both really good. When we got there it was not crowded and a waitress told us to sit anywhere. The chef/owner(?) came out to say hi and explain menu items and take our order. I think the waitresses were busy. The menu mentioned a special pizza of the week, so we asked what it was, and the chef told us there wasn't one but he could make us something like a double pepperoni or a cheeseburger pizza. When we told him no, we wanted one of their specialty pizzas, the Tuscany, he got excited and explained that all the veggies and pesto were fresh. The Tuscany had Feta, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, Basil and Pesto. And it was really really good. My wife, sons and I loved it. We got it with the grilled chicken on half. It had such a great flavor and the crust was really good. It had a great hand made yeast dough texture and flavor. It was also a good deal. We ordered one extra large pizza for $20 and we took three pieces home. It's a strange but good little place… dive-y atmosphere, good friendly staff, a salad bar instead of normal dimmer, side or entree salads… and really good "gourmet" pizza. We wouldn't hesitate going again.
