If you can embrace the outdated "attractions" and greens at his mini golf course, you will certainly enjoy it. As others have mentioned, it costs $5.00 per person - and you are allowed to play as many times as you want. The shade is a great feature here if you go during the day.

We could not find hours posted online, so we decided to call. No answer. When we arrived at 11:00am the next day, we were disappointed to discover that they had not opened yet. We looked for hours posted - again, no luck.

Once we grabbed lunch and came back, they were finally open - I guess around 12:00-12:30pm. Though, I would not be surprised if this time fluctuates at the whim of the management.

The place does need to be updated, but if it forces the price to increase, I would recommend keeping it as-is. We will certainly be back next time we are in the area.

This is a fun, very reasonably priced mini golf course. Young children like all the old fashioned mini golf statues and hazards. The shade makes it nice in the summer.

This review is hard to write because there are several factors to consider. First of all, if you go completely on appearance, the place probably earns 2 or 3 stars. It is older and in need of some repair. The greens, or "oranges" in their case are a little worn. The atmosphere earns a 3 or 4 stars. There are obstacles like any other putt putt. There are mermaids, seals, giraffes, tikis, gorillas and many other animal figures. It seems to be a mixture of zoo and ocean. The entire course is in the shade. That gives the place 5 stars in my opinion. It also has a great location in Gulf Shores as well as being right next to the zoo. Once again, a 5 star rating. The best part of this mini golf is the price. It is only $5.00 for all you want to play. Down the road, there is a more updated mini golf but the price is $10.50 and it isn't very shady. My family loves going to Zooland you will too. Just be prepared that it isn't the most up to date facility.

While this is an older mini golf establishment, for 5.00 and play as much as you like it was a fun way to spend some time one evening during a family vacation.
