Gulf State Park is a beautiful, clean park with much to do for everyone of all ages. The Nature Center had several live native animals for the family to view, including baby alligators. There are pontoon boats to rent that look new as well as canoes in which to paddle around the lakes. The RV sites were spacious and well kept. The fishing pier is wonderful, however crowded. Bring food with you as the concession stand is very minimally stocked. Same thing goes for the bait shop. Even in the most crowded months, there is plenty of beach for everyone. I would definitely return to this park for a family vacation. Oh, and it cost only $1 to enter the RV park/Nature Center.
