We arrived around 8:00 p.m with an hour and a half wait time, there was so much to do and fun to be had the hour and a half went by quickly. The food was good, the prices a little high but expect that on the beach, great view, great activities just a fun visit all around. The service was great, people were friendly, something to do for every age. I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone.

We have eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and enjoyed it for the most part. This time was different however. The food just wasn't up to par. The seafood tasted as if it had been frozen and freezer burned, my salad was so drenched in ceasar dressing it was hard to eat and the shrimp that topped it was just plain awful.
A good thing about the hangout is that a non seafood lover can have a good salad, just not Caesar, and the wraps are good. It is fun for the children but can be quite noisy.
I hate that my review is mostly negative as we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. If you are not looking for good seafood and want a fun atmosphere then the Hangout could still be for you. Just not the restaurant that I had come to love anymore.

The kids were all excited to go to the place that had the big chairs and foam party, which was fun, however the restaurant was a disappointment! It was half empty and they tried to sit us outside at picnic tables without even asking first. Then all the items we were interested (that are on the online menu) were not available to choose from anymore. There was not much to choose from, fried pickles are cut long and soggy, fried shrimp were bland, catch of the day (which says local caught fish) was salmon (not sure you can get salmon around here) lol. And for 2 adults (catch of the day and burger) and 3 kids (shrimp basket, chicken tenders, and shrimp sandwich was $144!!! Before tip! Please update online menu, please train staff to ask customer where they wanted to be seated. I wish we would have just let the kids take pics and play in foam and went somewhere else. Very Disappointing!

We went in today for a late lunch and Jack was our server. He was fabulous! He was flexible with our table (we had kids playing all around) and was very patient with us. We were taking our time not realizing that it was the end of his shift and we were one of his only tables left. He never rushed us and made sure our lunch was wonderful! In addition, the food was great and very reasonably priced. We ordered 5 ponds of king crab legs and they were delicious and a great value! The kids enjoyed their meal as well! Great overall experience!!! We will visit again!

The service was fine, and the restaurant itself was a great place to bring kids. I got the jambalaya. I ended up having to leave the table, and go wait for the rest of my family to finish their meals. The fried pickles were pretty good. Overall the food wasn't good, but it is a good place to bring kids.
