We enjoyed the wait, lots of things to do and see. Once we were seated they rolled up one of the awnings and the sun was directly in our eyes. The waiters didn't seem to notice and we didn't complain. We weren't the only customers with sun in our eyes.

the food was good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was so much fun. They had a watermelon eating contest, dancing on the table, outside sand pit, ping pong table and more. Perfect for a large group with kids and it has a nice view of the ocean. Very casual can wear a bathing suite with a cover up.

Went on a weekday evening, had a 1:00 hr wait. Parking was across the street in a frass lot as rhwir bormal lot was full...a bit frustrating. Band(s) playing were good 80s rockers that along with the games, jugglers , gift shop and bars...we kept busy. Had 3 of their own beers that were marginally better than the domestics but more pricey. Fish tacos were best I've had in the area. Wait staff has to dance/ perform once an hour so they are hard to find at times. Beach view was great while eating .

We loved The Hangout! We have a 5 year old daughter who had a blast on the playground and my husband and I enjoyed the live music just as much! Something for everyone!
