we stayed at this hotel for two night when we evacuated from MS for hurricane Gustav. The people that worked there were very nice. They helped us with getting a room at the last minute and they gave us a foldaway bed for our son at no charge. They had a basic continental breakfast which was cereal, waffles, muffins, milk and juice. Which was good and free. They allow you to bring small pets at a charge of 10.00 per pet per night. Which is great when you travel with your pets or if you have to evacuate and don't want to leave your pets behind. The rooms were average size. There were some minor problems in our room such as the front door security chain fell off as soon as we touched it. The floor was extreamly dirty. when we walked on it in are bare feet, they became black, so we wore our shoes. The room also smelled musty and I don't think they clean it very well after a pet has been in it, because our dogs started to scatch, like they were being bit. They have a outdoor pool which was very refreshing after being on the road with kids and pets.Although they were booked and the parking lot was full, they had a huge parking lot in back that accomedates larger vehicles such as buses, motor homes, trucks. They also have the entire property on survalance for security.I would recommend this hotel only for overnighters, but not for a week long vacation because there is nothing really fun to do there entertainment wise.

My husband and I , by chance, stopped here after going through terrible rain on way to Gulf Shores. We chose this Days Inn because of the looks and it was a good choice! Bed, bathroom, etc. very clean. Well equipped. Very nice and accommadating clerk at check in. Nice complementary breakfast foods, a complementary USA Today newspaper. The pool looked nice though we did not have time to make use of it. A very nice exit. Good variety of places to eat, fast food and nicer restaurants, Wal Mart, gas stations, and other lodging to choose from. Would definitely stop here again.

My son and I stayed here for one night. The area had a variety of places to eat , stay , and to get fuel. The room and bathroom were a bit small. There was some green greasy sticky cleaner? on the tub, toliet, and bathroom floor. The toliet seat was broken. Also, housekeeping left a dirty, hairy towel. The motel looked better from the outside. The inside felt outdated, old, and dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable though and the staff was friendly . For only $54 it was okay. I might give it a second chance.
