I have been here before and the food was decent; however last night the place had few patrons and yet it took about 30 minutes to get an appetizer (which was good) and a total of about 45 minutes to get spinach salad. Nothing Fancy, just the spinach leaves with red onion, egg, tomatoes. Not a 45 minute culinary hike.
Killing time waiting for the empty beer to be replaced, I got on Trip Advisor and read some of the other reviews relating to service and discovered my experience was not isolated. (should have read it first, huh?) Probably not the place for a fast lunch. . . and if going for evening dining, be forewarned and unrushed. The food is decent, wait staff was pleasant - they just need that "intervention" that only professional management can impress on customer service. Gadsden needs a variety of places to dine, so I wish them well in correcting the issues in the past several reviews.
