unforgettable, you can sit for hours and see something new. Check hours-they vary. This is a lifetime of work with trains in every possible setting all working. It is a work of art.

I would have rated this higher, unfortunately we visited on a day the trains weren't running, so there really isn't much to see when that building is closed. The old L&N depot is filled with local history - not much train stuff. They have several cars on exhibit and you can walk through the caboose. There is plenty of parking in front of the depot, as well as on the side where the park is. We would like to go back when the model trains are running someday.

Great for the young and old interested in the railways. Very educational inside and then you get to explore the trains outside! The little kids get a kick out of is as well as the young at heart!

The museum is very interesting and the large model train layout is really fun, especially if you have you children with you.

Always looking for unexpensive things to do or things off the heavely advertised attractions..If U have a child/children who loves trains then U need to take them here..It is in a small building the exhibit is pretty big..U have to go on certain days to see the trains actually running ..We went on a tuesday..The employees are very friendly..I saw children just asking one question after another and the employee was answering them and being patient..It made me smile..The amount of time and effort in this is so great..Just a few : a old fashioned diner, circus, drive in theater, many more..There is a camera in one of the trains so u can literally see it chugging along..For a time waster, train lover, children take em here..the exhibit is really the only thing to see here and it will not take long .Do what I did take take em here and then go bowling at gulf bowl ..
