“Wonderful salad bar.”
Reviewed February 12, 2012

We both enjoyed two trips to the salad bar for lunch. Everything looked so fresh. There were lots of items to put on your salad plus there were also many side dishes. Shrimp was in quite a few of them. I've have never seen deviled eggs on a salad bar before. They were very good. We saw many dishes coming from the kitchen. All looked very appetizing and the portions seemed large.

“Old Tymie Beach Food”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

This place takes you back to the '50s (probably when it started). So nice to be able to relax and eat good seafood and not have to worry about the bill and/or your stomach. Really good food, and really well served.

You know a place is good when there a folks waiting for it to open....

“Pretty good food. Good selections.”
Reviewed February 2, 2012

We needed a place to meet my parents as they are staying in Orange Beach. A lot of the food around the area isn't good. This was a pleasant surprise. I had grilled Maji, which was great. My wife had fried oysters, and they were huge. Food prepared well, and atmosphere adequate for our Sunday meet for lunch. Nice little niche shop as you enter. Full bar. Service was good, but some food substitution wasn't allowed. Overall, I would recommend this for an everyday place to dine.

“family favorite for many years.”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

This restaurant in it's original location burned down a few years ago. A couple of years ago the owners re-located in Foley,Ala. and Orange Beach.,Ala .Our family ,for many years ,has frequented this restaurant in both locations. The service is great. Food wonderful. The service has always been very friendly. If you go around 6:00 expect to wait, Earlier usually faster seating. Shrimp, all seafood is great. They also have sweet potato fries which are excellent. Some beers are $1.00 on tap. A gift shop is in the entrance with some unusual gifts. If you're in the area be sure to stop and enjoy.
