This is just like the old-fashion soda fountains of my youth. I came with friends and had a root beer float and it was very good. Enjoyed seeing the heart-shaped iron chairs with the small tables. Fun to watch the train going round and round the store's ceiling. It was interesting to see the counters and products in cases like back in the 40s and 50s. Good experience.

What a fun place, real old fashion drug store and Soda Fountain that takes you back a few year. Can you believe it a 10cent cup of coffee they have it all day and it is only 25 cents to get it too go. Don't pass up their soda fountain treats they are great, prices are reasonable. Milk shakes made the old fashion way with hand dipped ice cream. The Polish hot dog is really good. Don't miss this small town community treasure.

Had to visit this place to try the Key Lime Shake as advertised in the '100 Dishes to eat in Alabama before you die" brochure, and was not disappointed, the shake was just wonderful. My husband had an ice cream and it was $6.50 so not sure about the previous review saying the prices were from the old days but it was worth every cent. Great old time drugstore and very interesting pieces around as well as a model train which runs around a track set up along the wall. A good stop.

Great place for old time sodas, ice creams, egg salads, bottled cokes, malts! Model trains, jukebox, side jerks-such fun! And the prices are from the old days as well-coffee is still 10 cents! It's a great place to have a sundae, hotdog, or cold coke and tell the children about how things use to be! One of our favorite spots!
