This is the best Marriott I have ever stayed in its beautiful and has great rooms I have no complaints the food is great the view is great the pool is great its an over all great hotel I stay here any time I get a chance

this was a great stay the water fall seen form the top floors or great. the local park are great to spring park was ours the play the soundfs of the shoals at dark and put on a great lite show. if you wont a goog family get away here it is

My family recently stayed here while visiting some of the attractions in the Shoals area, and we were very impressed by both the location and the friendliness of the staff. The hotel is situated on the Tennessee River, and our room on the sixth floor had an outstanding view of Wilson Dam (built in the 1920s) and the pool area. A city-owned park, complete with a playground and a splash pad, is only a short walk away; however, my seven-year-old son was more interested in the awesome hotel pool which features fountains, a slide, and a cool cave buffeted by two waterfalls. We did not eat onsite as a host of restaurants and stores are just two miles away, but the property does feature a revolving restaurant with a spectacular view of the area and another, more reasonably-priced restaurant, overlooking the pool.

The hotel itself is very nice, but the hallways and rooms are small compared to other Marriott spa/resort properties. A large chair was wedged awkwardly between one of the beds and the balcony, making the room appear even smaller, but the bathroom was large and featured both a tub and a roomy shower.

Everyone in the hotel was friendly and professional. Molly at the front desk and Corey with security deserve a special mention for going beyond what is expected to make our trip enjoyable as does Robbie who took our bags to the room. His genuine enthusiasm for his job and his pride in the hotel really helped our stay begin on the right foot.
