“5 STAR atmosphere, 3 star service, 2 star food.”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

Had lunch at Bronzeback yesterday (the first time in a long time) because the weather was beautiful and we wanted to sit outdoors. The setting is very lovely because it overlooks the pool. The menu has been changed and is very limited. We were seated by the hostess and it was longer than usual for a server to greet us (only 2 other tables seated). I had pimento cheese BLT sandwich with sweet potato fries. The pimento cheese was made with white cheese and peppers and onions, a fried green tomato and bacon. I took the bacon off and just ate the bread and bacon. The sweet potatoes appeared to have been cooked a couple days earlier and reheated. Our table had no condiments and our drinks had no cocktail napkins. With glass top tables this is a mess. The server was very pleasant. It is very sad that this beautiful place can not get the menu/food improved. When we go back, it will definitely not be to eat.

“Food is average but location/service is great”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

Menu is varied enough and the staff will work with you to get your order just as you want/need it. Nice dining room that is never too crowded and the best service in town. The music is local Muscle Shoals recorded music by day and live music in the adjoining bar area on certain night. This cafe is in the nicest hotel in town but is not as gourmet or pricey as the revolving restaurant in the tower in the same hotel. Good for a working lunch.
