Tamara's always delivers a pleasant dining experience. Nothing over the top, but the servers are friendly, the food consistently good, and fairly priced. Sunday brunch is nice, usually with some live music. The salads are huge and the burger is hubby's favorite in Fairhope. They have a lot of interesting art hanging from the ceiling, and a decent bar. Good Bloody Marys if you ask for extra spicy!

We dined at Aurora's which I learned was part of the Tamara's Restaurant family. Prices were very reasonable for the beautiful, but "chill" atmosphere. I tried things I never thought would go together and was pleasantly surprised... must try the chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon... Flavor explosions at every course... fresh, fresh, fresh! And our waitress was the most personable and knowledgable I've had in years! Already recommended to others and can't wait to return!

...even for those of us married 20+ years. Always enjoy the menu, service and the wine. Right on Section Street in downtown Fairhope.

We had dinner there our first night in town. At last, I tried Royal Reds for the first time. They were fabulous! The service was very good. The place was not really busy the night we were there - a weekend night in late April. My husband had Prime Rib which he liked, but found quite salty. Salads were excellent. We would go there again.

Have been a fan of Tamaras for awhile because of the hours and days of operation. However, have noticed that if they don't have fresh fish or fresh steaks....it can be somewhat of a challenge to find a 'great' meal..especially for price. Would recommend if they had fresh fish, would not however if they do not. The tuna and steaks recently served seemed somewhat ''frozen''. And for the price they are charging I believe that is too much of a stretch. But if you get lucky and they have fresh mahi or grouper etc..would highly recommend. The ambiance in the place is great...beautiful restaurant..
