Coming upon this lovely village of Fairhope on Alt. 98 in AL, we were charmed immediately by the quaint shops, and the flowers and hanging baskets decorating every street corner. We were looking for a place to have breakfast as well, and came across Julwin's. The food was great, the service was fantastic, and this was the best find in town! Many locals came and went while we were there. There are photos on the walls that tell some of the local history, and the folks working here are pleasant and fun to talk with. If you're in the area, stop in for a meal. They're open for breakfast and lunch. You'll love it!

It felt like an old time diner experience, with breakfast all day and lunch. The vegetables were homemade and the bacon on the BLT was excellent.

Very very nice people working there. We sat outside and had great service. The waitress came out a couple of times to see how we were doing and refresh our coffee. I had 1/2 order of biscuit and milk sausage gravy. It was 1 large fluffy biscuit with homemade gravy. Husband had "large" breakfast of eggs, pancakes, ham, bacon and sausage and a biscuit! It was all good.

Julwin's has been a breakfast tradition in downtown Fairhope for years. While the service is friendly the food is just awful! Greasy eggs, bacon so thin you can read thru it. Biscuts so dense you can use them for golf balls once carved down. IHOP or Waffel House are better options.

My husband I both enjoyed the fabulous country style fare in this family style restaurant.
