“Skip this place”

We are spending part of our spring break in town and have been having a lovely week. This is the first restaurant we haven't liked since we've been here. It drives me crazy to spend a lot of money on a bad meal. The fish was bad, the duck was bad, and the pasta was nothing special. The only one who ate his food was my son who ordered pizza. The menu isn't very extensive, so if you really feel you want to eat here, make sure you look at the menu first. The place looks charming and our waiter was good, but the whole point of eating out is the food. There are plenty of other restaurants in this town, so pick a different one!

“Leaves a lot to be desired”

Ordered a take out lasagne dinner. A small layer with tasteless tomato sauce, no salad, not even a piece of garlic bread and paid $15 with tax. Frozen store bought is better than this poor excuse for lasagne

“A Great Lunch withWonderful Service”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

We were in Fairhope for the first time and while walking the street came to Pinzone's Italian Downtown. We had a great start with a tomato basil soup and we each had different entrees resulting in no room for dessert. The food taste was above average Italian and presented well. The highlight was our server Cate (from NY) who was friendly, helpful and smiling at all times. If we visit again this will be a dinner drive from Gulf Shores AL.

“Feels like you're walking down the street in an Italian village.”

Excellent waitress. fun to have wait on us. Restaurant has many places on the property to eat. Tables along the walls on the outside, several separate buildings with seating for small groups. Selection of the day was Spinach Lasagna, green salad, various breads. Reasonable price, Excellent service.

“Fool me once shame on you.....fool me twice shame on me.”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

Tried the Pizza the first time we were there. Mediocre at best. Tried the restaurant a year later.... Ordered two glasses of wine in which BOTH glasses barely equaled a serving. Was not so chintzy the first visit. Their largest cheese, sausage and pepperoni pizza was disappointing.....there were very little ingredients on it. The amount of tiny sausage balls could be contained in a shot glass. The same could be said for the extremely thin sliced pepperoni. There was very little pizza sauce and when it was cut NO cheese spread over the cut edges. The flavor? TASTELESS.....like eating cardboard. I have had better frozen pizza from the local grocers....more flavorful with generous toppings. Needless to say, my husband and I will not return and neither will any of our acquaintances,
