“Here for work, but got some fun/shopping in!”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

I was in Fairhope for work, but stayed right in Downtown. I was there on a Monday and in an off time period, so it was pretty empty, but it was worth my time. There are many stores to pop into and casually browse; Pages and Palette, Christmas 'Round the Corner and so on. Great little hidden gem on the Alabama coast!

“Fairhope is a must see if you go to Alabama!”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

Our spouses tour took us by bus to Fairhope. What a wonderful and charming town just brimming with southern charm and incredible shops. If you can't find it here, you probably can't find it. In every single store we went into, we were greeted like we were long lost family. What a fun day we had! We toured the town and the bay a bit on the bus and it is such a beautiful area.

“Tips from a local”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

If you are visiting Fairhope during a busy time, park in the free public parking garage which is directly behind the main downtown street of Fairhope Ave. Enter from Church St. Make sure you visit the Eastern Shore Art Center and Fairhope Museum of History, both are free and offer a great experience of our beautiful community!
And coming soon . . a splash pad and new park for the children on Church St. close to the Fairhope Inn.

“See. Eat. Drink. Explore. - Great Day in Fairhope”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

This was my second visit and I loved it more than the first time. All your senses get tickled when visiting this quaint water side community. It's clean, beautiful flowers on every street corner, a nod to European Architecture with beautiful balconies & ironwork, a mix of shopping from art, clothing, interiors and wonderful food.

Most stores have the Downtown Fairhope map or stop by the Chamber of Commerce. It will take several hours so you do need to survey the shops and make a plan. I suggest start your shopping around 10, stop by Panni Pete's for lunch visit a few more shops then end the day at Red and White to take in a wine and cheese flight. I have reviews for both mentions.

It's pretty much a perfect day!

“Very nice day trip”
Reviewed June 26, 2014

We spent a cloudy day in Fairhope as a reprieve from the beach. This is a wonderful alternative to all the touristy options around Gulf Shores. The quaint and charming downtown offers a variety of shops and restaurants. There was one toy shop that kept the kids busy for a bit. Mostly aimed at women though, there were lots of clothing boutiques, although with jewelry and gifts. Town is very scenic too.
