I regret I didn't write this review sooner, as we stayed at the Bay Breeze back in November. We had such a wonderful visit. Miss Becky and Mr. Bill are wonderful hosts and strive to make your visit most enjoyable. Anything you need, they try to accommodate. We asked about boiled peanuts (couldn't imagine what those were like) and the next day Bill had gone to buy peanuts then boiled them himself for us to try! The breakfasts were great, along with visiting with the hosts and other guests. The grounds are beautiful and sunsets at the pier are as well.
Bill and Becky will give you great suggestions for restaurants and points of interest in the area. Becky grew up in the house and shared a lot of what is was like growing up in the South. Just loved talking with her. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Azalea room in the main house. If you want more privacy you could rent a cottage.

We were Guests at the Bay Breeze Guest House or only one night - we only wish it could have been much longer. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Becky (who runs this with husband Bill). The accommodation is first class, with excellent facilities. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location on Mobile Bay is a superb place for either a relaxing vacation (such as ours) but with good access to a host of amenities. The Breakfast in the Guest House was extremely good. The Guest House had it's own pier, stretching out into the bay, from where Breakfast is served at weekends during the summer. If ever we have the good fortune to be in the area of Mobile Bay again, this will definitely be our first choice to stay.

Room Tip: Just book - all the rooms are great.

Our first time at Fairhope and our very first time at a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn't have picked a better place. Becky and Bill were wonderful hosts and the location is outstanding. We stayed in one of the cottages which we really enjoyed. The cottage has a bedroom, a sitting area and small kitchen.
I felt like royalty at Breakfast with the wonderful dishes served and the sit down and relax atmosphere. We had pecan waffles, eggs Madeline and a wonderful country style breakfast. Becky shared her recipes with us before we left..
I am sold on staying at B&B's now and would return in a heartbeat. It was difficult coming home to snow...
Thanks Becky and Bill...!!!!!

Room Tip: The cottages give you a bit more privacy than if you choose a room in the main building

Fairhope is 20 minutes from Mobile, home of the Mardi Gras, and staying in the self contained, Camellia Suite with private entrance was the perfect way to start and end each day. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful and the hosts were well acquainted with the greater Fairhope area. We had use of several outdoor sitting areas on the lawn, on the long dock, and in the main house.

Being animal lovers, we enjoyed meeting the 3 dogs, while the cats remained aloof (which was fine by me). The several signs (don't take offence) are a throw back to the former career of the hostess I presume, she being a former teacher.

A quaint town with a southern hospitality second to none.

Room Tip: The Camellia rooms (large bedroom, 2 bath rooms and a nice sitting area) has a separate entrance from the driveway. You have about 50 steps to enter the main house where breakfast is served and you can enjoy the common areas.

We had a thoroughly delightful weeklong stay, featuring a full , well decorated one bedroom apartment, spectacular breakfasts with an assortment of upbeat friendly guests, the use of several outdoor sitting areas on the lawn, on the long dock, and in the main house. Our warmhearted hostess, Becky, gave us a wealth of information about the Fairhope area and its interesting history. We felt as if we were visiting family we were glad to see.
