Description: If you are craving authentic southern cooking, visit Cutts Restaurant in the Enterprise, AL area. Our family restaurant offers a complete range of your favorite southern dishes. With 46 years of experience, all our menu items are also available for catering. Cutts Restaurant guarantees a delightful dining experience for your family and friends! Cutts Restaurant started out as Cutts Grocery back in March 1967, in Level Plains (pictured above). Hubert and Pearlie Bell Cutts, with their children, Larry and Lou Ellen, bought a full line country store with meat market, gas pumps, groceries and even a barber shop, There weren't many places to eat so the Cutts invented the now famous Cutts Chili Dog, thus beginning Cutts Restaurant. In 1971, the family sold the grocery store in Level Plains and they decided to build some poultry houses. The Cutts opened Cutts Snack Bar in Enterprise in 1972. It was an immediate hit. They expanded their menu to include all sorts of short order sandwiches and side orders. As time went on, Hubert and Pearlie Bell decided to retire. In 1979, Larry and Ellen bought the snack shack. In 1980, they moved the snack bar down the street to its present location. What is now just the kitchen was the entire restaurant. They expanded the menu and operating hours. “Cutts,” as most people call the restaurant, was doing great. In 1987, Larry and Ellen decided to add a large dining room and open a buffet for lunch. It was a hit. The buffet featured country cooking - four meats, 14 vegetables and a lot of desserts. The new dining room seated 160 people In 1992, due to his health, Larry retired. His son Rick, with wife Liane, bought the restaurant - the third generation of Cutts. The parking lot was expanded, new equipment purchased and a catering service launched. Hours expanded from 10AM - 2PM to 8AM - 9PM, including a late breakfast and dinner buffet. The entire family is still heavily involve in the day-to-day operation of the business. Great food and friendly service. The food is served cafeteria style. You pick a meat, veggies and bread. Will be back!

Stopped at Cutts Restaurant on the way to an anniversary getaway weekend. We picked it based on proximity to our trip and Trip Advisor reviews. What a great choice. It seems very non-assuming from the outside. Inside we found the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. We were surprised to find that it was cafeteria style service but found out that certainly didn't decrease their level of service. We were there about an hour before closing time. There was plenty of food to choose from and it all appeared hot and fresh. I had fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes and brown gravy with lima beans, roll and sweet tea. My husband had pulled pork BBQ with turnip greens, mashed potato casserole, cornbread and sweet tea. The servers and owners were super friendly and easily engaged in conversation. The food portions were huge and our entire meal was under $20. We chose our own seat and the dining area was casual but with character. The food was out of this world good.I didn't have to season anything as it was already perfectly seasoned. My husband loved the homemade pepper sauce on the table. The owner came by and talked with us a minute and was very nice. Our waitress kept our drinks full (perfect Southern sweet tea) and gave us a box and top to take our
drinks to go. The only thing we didn't like was that the corn bread was really more like hush puppies than traditional corn bread...but that was a minor issue. We will definitely be going back and telling friends to go as well.

I recommend Cutts for lunch or dinner M-F, they have daily specials, which include cornbread stuffing, fried chicken, greens, cornbread, things, genuine southern cooking. On the weekends you can only get a burger or chili dog. They are famous for their chili dogs, but to me, I'm not a huge chili dog fan, so you'll have to try them yourself and submit a review if you think they're extra special!

If you are in Enterprise, and want to try some great Southern-Style Food, then you would be foolish to miss out on Cutts! Cutts homemakes everything they put out on the table. There are normally 6-7 meats to choose from each day, and ~20 vegetables.

My suggestion is to get the BBQ, as it is what they are really famous for, and go with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. They also have good dessert pies, which they sell in slices or whole pies!

Overall, this is the best restaurant in Enterprise, and probably the immediate surrounding area as well! Definitely worth the visit.

This is a "hometown like" restaurant. Nothing fancy or special. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious and they give you plenty. My husband and I had fried Chicken (something I never make) and it was juicy and had plenty of actually meat.
You could tell from the interaction of the people around us this is a favorite of the locals. The retired couple in front of us noticed we were new to this place and couldn't say enough about how wonderful it was.
